In the early 2000s Frank was heavily involved in the sport of cutting with his wonderful cutting stallion, Oaks Cocoa Jay. Amongst other awards, Cocoa was the winner of the 1999 Equitana Cutting Masters at the inaugural Equitana and placed third in 2001. He was the 1999 Novice Champion and Victorian Open Champion. Of the Ten years he competed on the cutting circuit, he was listed as Australian Top 10 seven times.

He sired several quality foals but by far his best was the amazing Dara Cocoas Preview out of the successful cutting mare, Freckles Preview. She engaged in a top level career of her own including winning CCCC Futurity Champion in 2002. She was also 2003 CCCC Derby finalist. She was fourth in the NCHA Gold Cup in 2003.  She is now a 2024 NCHA Heritage Hall Of Fame mare thanks to her progeny's LTE of over $266,000.

Our cutters are bred in conjunction with Jack Daraio and we thank him for the loan of the wonderful Dara Cocoa's Preview daughter, Dara Previews Hydrive by Hydrive Cat. We also thank Mr David Doolan for the loan of Dara Cocoas Preview TR by TR Dual Rey. We will use these two wonderful mares to restart our cutting breeding program in 2025.
